At approximately 8:55 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a prowler who attempted to make entry into a residence located in the area of Russell Avenue and Gushee Street in Felton.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 35 to 40 years of age, between 5’8’’ and 5’10’’ in height, wearing blue jeans and white t-shirt with shoulder length blonde hair.
Approximately 20 minutes later, at 9:15 p.m., deputies received another report of a residential burglary on the 100 block of Redwood Drive.
According to reports, a man entered the residence. Once inside, the man removed a two-year-old female from her crib. The child alerted her mother of the intruder, at which time the suspect fled the residence. The child was unharmed.
According to Deputy Ryan Kennedy, due to the timing, location, and nature of the two incidents, deputies are considering the man described in the first incident as a suspect in both cases.
