The life of Diane O’Rourke was celebrated at Highland’s Park in Ben Lomond last weekend. She died in Brookdale at the age of 69.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Mrs. O’Rourke spent many summers in the San Lorenzo Valley as a child. She moved her family to the valley and ran a bar with her husband Don until he died. She then worked at La Posada retirement home and enjoyed life with her partner Ed Doty for many years.

Family said she had a green thumb and loved caring for her orchid cactuses and their blooms.

She is survived by partner Ed Doty of Brookdale; children Erin Mc Cuiston of Brookdale and Molly O'Rourke of Felton; siblings, Gordy Jennings of San Mateo and Steve Jennings of San Francisco; three grandchildren and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her spouse Don O’Rourke, her parents Pat and Bill Jennings and her sister Roxy Jennings.

A potluck barbecue celebration of life was held on May 18 at Highlands Park.
