I have known Rodger since the late 70's,

We camped together,hiked,dreamed,grew older,

cried, pissed each other off, laughed, got high, but above all we played music together.Rodger enjoyed his friends and loved having them all around him,The best times were spent in Boulder Creek Ca.I remember him moving their, it seemed the perfect place for him,it put a spark in him. He worked hard for local landscaping companies and on his own, often bringing his new found fiends to share the work and put a few buck's in there pockets. He was a leader and the first to offer a hand if you needed one. Rodger shared his life, dreamed big, longed for love and to be needed.Rodger was a great song writer and was always working on his next song,he shared his talent with everyone. He taught and inspired many many musicians to play and learn to play including myself.Rodger themes weres always the same Love-Respect-Family-Dreams.Rodger dreamed of the big stage and it kept him going for a lot of years. When he moved north after losing he house in his beloved Boulder creek

I would visit and we would talk, he quit talking big, and the dream was over,he was not old

but he was aged.I did not see Rodger for a while so like I did A few times before searched him out,

I was crushed to hear the news about my dear friend, But smiled as I cried and hung my head down, because our Brother died were he loved most, Boulder Creek California, his home.

Love you ,Miss you, Respected you,and will

remember you and our days together.

Your Friend even in death,

Roberto
